Taylor Swift looked especially sweet and very feminine in Maria Lucia Hohan's Little White Dress. Although I love Taylor's look here, and I think every woman should have a LWD in her closet, and it should be worn anytime not just labor day, I did not like Taylor's lack of accessories. So in my look I opted for a lace dress in a v-neck cut; as I feel not everyone feels comfortable having that much fabric so close to their neck. I also opted for closed toe glitter pumps, Taylor had peep-toes on. And I added a few accessories, that I think complements the whole look. A bow belt to tie in the sparkle theme and stick with the girliness of the overall look. And a red bag that's small enough to carry all the basic necessities, like lipstick for touch ups. And some adorable pearl earrings, keeps it feminine and classy. Overall look for less came to a total of: $ 161. Hope you guys like it. And thanks for stopping by.
As I am getting older, I have noticed I want more expensive things for
Christmas. This is not to say that I am spoiled, but I have been craving
pieces that can withstand the test of time and trends. And nothing is
more timeless than jewelry and handbags. I chose the iPad as my number
one present for Xmas, as any piece of Apple technology will resist the
wear and tear of life and its a piece of equipment that will be there
year after year for whatever need I have. A nice quality winter coat is
always a must for Christmas, it will keep me warm many years to come and
the classic silhouette will never go out of style. A nice big designer
handbag is not only sturdy and will withstand wear and tear; but one
from Coach will be sure to be a generational favorite. A classic mens
watch will go with all my outfits and its a nice timepiece to give to
future generations as an heirloom. And you can never go wrong with
bright jewels. Diamonds are a girls best friend, especially jewel toned
ones for Christmas.
Who says you can't wear sweatpants and still look put together? I say, you can look pulled together!! I love anything and everything casual. In fact, I am that girl, whose go to outfit is jeans and a t-shirt. So, I like how in this outfit, I can still be cute and presentable to the general public, but still feel; oh so comfortable at the same time. Its a sociallyacceptable way of feeling like you're wearing PJ'S in public. Ha ha.
An outfit, inspired by the new collection of fair isle sweaters from Old Navy. I just love sweaters and stripes in the winter. I mean they are kind of a necessity. Ankle wedge boots with a bit of faux fur; a classic for winter. My sister has a pair, just like the ones in the image, but they are chocolate brown and knee length. Did I ever mention how addicted I am to cheetah print, its like in the same ball game as my addiction to chocolate. Who says you cant wear your favorite maxi dress during the winter. Just add some thermal tights, or leggings underneath, wear the sweater over it, belt it so it looks like a sweater and skirt combo, add a bright red warm pea-coat and you are good to go my friends. Perfect for a winter wonderland or caroling in the snow. Or shopping for your friends and families Christmas presents. Have fun, wherever you are.
