I tried my best on this one; to get the the look exactly like on the Instyle January 2013 cover issue; but I think I came close enough without losing the essence of the whole look.
I actually prefer the color of my dress than on the cover. I think the bright green makes more of a POW presence. It just says HELLO EVERYONE. I think this dress would be perfect for a day date or even brunch with the girls.
I tried to replicate the ruffle in the dress on the cover by adding a long layered necklace with the flower hair clips. And then the bright ring to add some accessories into the mix.
The overall look costs: $ 699. Now I understand that's a bit steep. And I am not saying to go out there and spend approx. 700 dollars on an outfit. But for the sake of keeping the look consistent, I went a little over as the shoes in the picture are the exact same shoes on the cover, and they cost roughly 500 bucks. Because I wanted the shoes to match, I went over. Although I would never buy shoes that are that expensive.
