Faberge Egg

Faberge Egg

Faberge Egg by confectionarystyle featuring ankle wrap sandals

My inspiration for this set was the classic yet ohh so fantastic Faberge egg. The beauty that is found in this egg: the rich colors, pearls, gold, you name it, the silk inside.

I think this dress from Faviana's Prom Collection worn by Ashley Benson of Pretty Little Liars and Days of Our Lives and Bring It On Fame; brings the beauty of the Faberge egg in one whole piece. The light blue of this dress, that can only be found in the Caribbean Beaches is just perfect for Spring or Summer. And the detail with the beading and rhinestones, brings this dress to a whole new level. You don't even need jewelry. You will be the shinning jewel at the ball.

Since, the dress is beautiful on its own, I decided to add subtle color in the blush pink bag; in a classic Chanel quilted pattern.

Then I added a little cute shrug, since its still a bit chilly outside during the first months of Spring.

So I hope you like my style picks.

Together like Peanut Butter and Jelly

Together like PB & J

Together like PB & J by confectionarystyle featuring shiseido lipstick

These colors (peach & mint) go together like peanut butter and jelly. They complement each other very well, just like a perfect sweet sandwich or a spoon in a jar of Nutella. There is something so fresh for the beginning of Spring and these colors remind me of that. Mint and its fresh color and smell are very vibrant and the sweet aroma of peaches in the air. This look is perfect for Prom or even those Summer Weddings that are coming up.

Jennifer Lopez Studded Platform Dress Sandals - Women

Isn't this shoe so gorgeous.

Now Ms. J.LO knows how to make a shoe.
Love the height being a shorty
and the detailed straps are just so wonderful,
spices up the outfit.

Any bag that looks like a Chanel, is the bag for me.

Mint and Yellow Floral Bracelet on Turquoise Vintage Ribbon

I just love the flowers on this bracelet and how it
combines the two theme colors of my look just
perfectly.

Overall Total Look: $ 199
Rossum was bright as sunshine in this Dior; yellow v-neck, short sleeved mini dress. I think yellow is the best color for pale skin tones, as it instantly brightens up a person's appearance. It is like being a giant ball of happiness.

My overall look for less: dress, shoes and accessories came to a total of $ 199 under 200 woohoo. That is probably way less than the actual price tag of the Dior dress; I am betting. Therefore, I am patting myself on the back. You can still get the designer look for a fraction of the cost.

I actually like the shoes and dress of my look better. I prefer chunky strappy heels, as I feel my foot is more stable and secure, so less chances of falling on the red carpet. Ha-ha. In addition, I love my dress purely for the bejeweled belt in the middle; you can never go wrong with sparkles on a dress and the cut prefect for any age or body shape. It hits the high notes in all the right places.

Well let me know what y'all think in the comments below.
